General Concept of Entomology


Entomology:
Entemon is a Greek word which means insect.
The branch of biological science which deals with the study of insect which deals with the different aspect of arthropod is called Entomology.
Or
The branch of biological science dealing with the relation to the insect, Arachnida and other Arthropod causing pathological condition in and animal or transmission of different organism that are responsible for such kind of pathological condition that means which have medical and veterinary importance.

Veterinary Entomology:
Veterinary Entomology is the study of all arthropods including insects and arachnids which are parasitic to the animal i.e. which have veterinary importance.
Forensic Entomology:
Need for medico logical practiced such as after postmortem the detection of the cause of the cause of death by observing the movement of the insects.

To understand the arthropod with respect of –

·        Behavior of arthropod
